The Black Death to Covid-19; A History of Pandemics

Throughout 2020 Covid-19 has had a big impact on our daily lives with the government introducing measures to try and reduce the infection and death rate associated with this widespread respiratory disease. Yet, this is not the first time we have had to fight pandemic diseases. The following 42 minute talk, written and compiled by our volunteer Elizabeth Currie, compares our fight against covid-19 with the way we faced the Black Death, Small Pox and the Spanish Flu.
