Events Promoted by The Dacorum Heritage Trust

Gordon Beningfield Events

Date Event Details
14th April Bird walk along the River Ver at Redbourn.  Organised by John Fisher of the Ver Society.
15th – 17th June  Flower Festival celebrating the English countryside at Great Gaddesden Church.  On the evening of 15hh there will be a reception including a talk by Dennis Furnell (ticketed event).  The church will be open to the public 10.30-4.30 on Saturday 16th and 11.45-4.30pm on the Sunday (there will be a church service at 10.30am on Sunday morning.)
16th and 17th  Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust are holding family-oriented activities and events in the water meadows along the River Gade.
6th – 8th July  Weekend of conservation at the Natural History Museum at Tring.  Starting with an evening reception on Friday 6th (ticketed event)
14th – 16th September  The Boxmoor Trust are also celebrating Gordon’s work.  Details to follow.

The tours not only give an overview of Dacorum Borough’s history, spanning over 6,000 years, but will also give you a insight into how we care and conserve your local history.
