Home Front - Second World War Object Loan Box

The Dacorum Heritage Trust can provide a Loan Box relating to rationing during World War Two, for use in the classroom.

The Loan Box includes:

· Hobbies Weekly Magazine - Projects include making a Home Guard photograph frame.
· Woman's Weekly Magazine - Many wartime articles including an advertisement for the WAAF.
· Aircraft Identification Booklet - A guide to identifying German monoplanes.
· Air Raid Precautions Booklets.
· Air Raid Precautions Whistle.
· Water Bottle.
· First Field Dressing.
· Binocular Case.
· Webbing Belt.
· Button Stick.
· Civil Defence Corps Cap Badge.
· National Registration Card (facsimile).
A few smells! 1930s Street and Street Bomb.
