Our Dacorum: a new website for recording your memories of the area

Local people are being invited to share their memories as part of a major new online community project led by Dacorum Heritage Trust, Hertfordshire Libraries and Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies, thanks to a grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Anyone with an interest in the area, wherever they live, will be able to access the website and add their own memories and photographs.

Volunteers are needed to join the community archive group to help create and develop the website. This is a great opportunity for people to learn new skills and no previous experience is needed. As the project grows you will help preserve photographs, stories and audio and video clips for the future. As a volunteer you will also edit the website and oversee its development.
