Following UK Government advice to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic the board have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close The Museum Store in Berkhamsted to visitors, volunteers and staff from 17th March 2020.
The Board will continue to regularly review the situation and we will continue to update our social media pages and website should the circumstances change.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to take any phone calls during this time, so should you need to contact the Trust could you please do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or via our social media platforms.
It is unlikely, however, that we will be able to answer any research enquiries for the foreseeable future. Any requests received will be logged and we will respond when the store re-opens.
We have also unfortunately had to temporarily suspended the DHT online book shop.
To help maintain community engagement in the heritage of Dacorum during the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus, we will be creating a new project titled ‘Stockpiling Stories’. Information about this new project will be shared on our social media and website in the coming days.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
